The Rev. Lisa Bornt
Interim Rector
The Rev. Lisa Bornt grew up in Maryland, and earned a B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Maryland before studying at Virginia Theological Seminary for her Masters of Divinity. She has served in a variety of ministry contexts in the Diocese of Maryland for six years – primarily as an Interim Rector. She loves reading, walking, crochet, movies, and spending time with her two cats, Même (15) and Gizmo (3).
The Rev. Julia Fritts
Associate Rector
The Rev. Julia Fritts was ordained to the priesthood in 2009, after earning her Master of Divinity degree at The General Theological Seminary in New York City. She has led churches in Stamford and East Windsor, Connecticut; Sweet Home and Corvallis, Oregon; Darlington, Maryland; and has recently concluded serving as Rector of St. Mark’s on the Hill in Pikesville, Maryland. She has a passion for the revitalization of Christian community, spiritual growth, and beautiful, transformational worship, sharing in Christ’s great welcome and love for all!
Kim Chalmers
Finance Manager
Kim has been with Good Shepherd since 2010. Her position has grown from responsibilities for budget and finance to include stewardship, annual giving, and overseeing the Good Shepherd campus and building. She has also worked as Finance Manager for our Day School so she knows everything about our community! A native Australian, her husband is a tennis pro.
Robert Woodard
Sunday Sexton
Robert is often the first face you will see to welcome you on a Sunday morning and coordinates our Sunday activities and weekday receptions.
Ann Marie Sears
Nursery Caregiver
Ann staffs our nursery during our 10 am service. Ann Marie has been a teacher at the Good Shepherd School for the last four years and she’s excited to be joining us on Sunday mornings!
Vestry Leadership

Sr. Warden
The senior warden works with the rector on many long and short term ministry projects. The senior warden is appointed by the rector, approved by the vestry and generally serves a term of three years.
Building & Grounds Committee**
Jr. Warden
The junior warden works with the rector and the Building and Grounds committee on building and maintenance issues. The junior warden is appointed by the rector, approved by the vestry and generally serves a term of three years.
**The Building & Grounds Committee is currently made up of Kim Chalmers, Harry Andrews, Bill Baker, Ed MacVaugh, Marge Rodgers, and Sarah Lemon.
The Vestry
The vestry is the “board” of the church and works with the rector to engage the congregation in leadership ministry. The vestry is responsible for the annual operating budget and partnering with committees in all areas of congregational life. Members of the vestry are elected every year at the Annual Meeting (May) and generally serve three years.
